SONE& PHON

A piano that can be anywhere.

A RESON MUSIC instrument · Expected 2027

Fourteen worlds. One physics.

Concert grandSpruce soundboard, felt hammers, lid fully open; six microphones: a pair inside the lid, ORTF at 1.5 m, a room pair.

Play a chord. It shows you how to make it sound better.

    What you get

    • 01

      Fourteen worlds

From a concert grand to a piano on Mars, all from one physics.

    • 02

      The harmony panel

Chord names, degrees on a grand staff, three colours for every chord.

    • 03

      Mac, then iPhone

AU, VST3, CLAP and a standalone app; iPhone follows.

    • 04

      Light enough to carry

No sample library to download: the piano is computed, not recorded.

    • 14worlds
    • 30,670coupled modes
    • 40papers behind the model

    Reserve for $1

Early bird: reserve Sone & Phon for $1 before it launches in 2027. Leave your email and we will send your $1 reservation link.

    Does it use samples?

No. The sound is computed in real time from the physics of the instrument.

    Which formats?

AU, VST3, CLAP and a standalone app on Mac, then iPhone.

What does the $1 reservation do?

It holds the early-bird offer for you until launch in 2027.

    What makes it different?

It models the piano together with the world around it — room, air, water, the parts themselves — and shows you the harmony you are playing.

    How much will it cost?

The price is announced at launch. Reservations hear first.

    When can I play it?

    Expected in 2027.
